| 【授業の目的と概要】 |

Students in Level IV will gain skills in both practical and academic writing, with a special emphasis on longer compositions and writing with nuance. The course seeks to broaden students’ interactions with more in-depth and advanced material. A range of time frames and grammatical structures will be mastered. Students will expand the writing process from paragraph to essay while applying key Level IV concepts. |
| 【授業の方法】 |
Students spend class periods reading example texts, dissecting the structure of texts (such as by outlining), doing writing exercises (such as writing a topic sentence for a paragraph), doing grammar and editing exercises, preparing outlines for their own writing, and writing paragraphs. |
